Warranty Policy

The Summary

I want to take uncertainty out of buying camera gear and give you reliable equipment that can be used for a long time. All cameras and devices are guaranteed to be free from defects not mentioned in the product description for starting from the delivery date.

During the warranty period, I will repair or replace the device at no cost to you. If repair or replacement isn’t possible, a refund can be offered. For customers in the European Union, shipping is covered during the first 30 days of warranty.

Coverage

1. What is covered?

This warranty covers any mechanical or electronic faults that occur within the warranty period, as long as they are not the result of misuse or accidental damage.

2. What is not covered?

  • Damage caused by misuse, impact, water, sand, or improper handling.
  • Faults resulting from unauthorized repairs, modifications, or disassembly.
  • Cosmetic wear such as scratches, paint loss, small dents, or brassing.

Warranty Period

1. How long is the warranty period?

The warranty lasts for 3 months (90 days), starting on the delivery day as confirmed by tracking information.

How to File a Claim

  1. Contact me first: email info@oldcamsbyjens.com or use the site’s live chat. Include your order number, a clear description of the issue, and if possible photos or a short video.
  2. Wait for confirmation: please don’t ship the product until you receive instructions and the correct return details.

Shipping Costs

  • Claims within 30 days of delivery: shipping is covered.
  • After 30 days: the customer covers shipping.
  • Return shipping after repair or replacement is always covered by OldCamsByJens.

Resolution Steps

Once the item is received and inspected, one of these will be offered:

  • Repair (typically within 30 days).
  • Replacement with a similar item or another item of equal value if repair isn’t possible.
  • Refund or store credit if neither repair nor replacement is possible.

International Customers (Outside the EU)

Customers outside the EU are also covered. Before sending anything back, please contact info@oldcamsbyjens.com to receive detailed return and customs instructions. Returns sent without prior confirmation or with incorrect customs labeling may face delays or additional charges for which the customer is responsible.
